The Council have increased rents this year, from £18 to £18.60 per pole. A 50% discount is available for up to 10 poles for residents who are aged 60+, claiming unemployment or incapacity benefits, income support or disability allowance and full-time students. We will collect the £5 Association membership fee at the same time – this covers our annual running costs, eg insurance.
We are hoping to collect as much rent as possible via bank transfer this year. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and Alison will email you back with how much you owe and instructions on how to pay. The cut-off for bank transfer payments is 15 October.
This will allow us then to concentrate on cash and cheque collections. Please note the following dates for cash or cheque (preferred!) payments: Friday 16 October, Sunday 18 October, Saturday 24 October, 10am–2pm in the meeting room. Make your cheque payable to Framfield Allotments Association and write your plot number on the back. Please wear a mask and keep your distance.
If you are shielding and don’t have online banking, please let us know.
Rents are payable by 31 October. If you fail to pay, your tenancy may be terminated and the allotment re-let without further notice.
